funness!

Wednesday, April 28th, 2004

so, the yardley thing went frelling awesome! lee beth was wonderful, as she always is. i really do think you should get the CD when you can. the link is in the previous post.

on a site note, i started doing some graphic work, and it should be done by the middle of next month. i’ve also got a few articles to finish up, which will also hopefully be done by the middle of next month.

and for those of you who haven’t scene farscape, now is a great time to start! but if outer space sci-fi isn’t for you, seaquest is the next best thing. back to farscape, there’s a great speech tword the end of season 4 about being an american. it’s possibly the funniest, and most serious, moment i’ve ever scene in sci-fi. most definately one of the greatest moments in motion picture (tv or movies) history.

as for games, i’ll try to get some Command and Conquer: Generals and Unreal Tournament 2004 reviews up. i just got both, and they’re both totally awesome! so have fun, get some farscape dvd’s and enjoy the end of the semester, or just enjoy spring for the rest of you! God bless, and again, HAVE FUN!

i just bought a 2001 Ford F-150 XLT. Which has less than 18800 miles on it. go ahead, do the math on miles per year. pictures to come. like everything else it’s going to be up soon. have fun, and God bless you one and all…He certainly has blessed me.

morning all. well, time has made itself as scarce as possible. but i did get a copy of the buddy rich orchestra doing “pick up the pieces” which is just plain fun in and of itself. and watching that 70’s show, farscape, and seaquest is fun as well. i should try watching them all at the same time soon…could be fun! back to my video games…have fun, God bless!

until i actually get the box idea working, and have some free time, i’ll go to a better looking blog layout. and maybe even update some of these sections. maybe. as for now, i’m just swamped with life. broken cars, broken relationships, broken families, broken computers…well, at least i’m consistant. i’ve got alot for graphe arithmos, God is blessing me alot in that respect right now. it’s just a time of pruning everything in my life. so, all the prayer is appretiated. well, have fun all. and God bless!

the next big thing

Wednesday, April 7th, 2004

time. is relative. and i have none. the good news is that farscape is officially coming back as a miniseries this fall on the sci-fi channel. so, now all i need to do is get them to bring back o’bannon’s other great series, seaquest, and i’ll actually watch tv! but until the mini series comes out, i’ll just stick to watching an occational that 70’s show episode and cartoons.

but, speaking of mini’s, the iPod mini is a great little device for anyone. but especially those that need music while they run. the arm band that apple sells with the iPod mini is a wonderful contraption, i encourage everyone to check them out.

on the subject of music though, yardley, a so cal based band, is having some gigs coming up, so check out their website and go to a good concert. yes they do still exist.

so, have fun everyone, tell me what you think of the new site, and enjoy spring break. and if you’re already done with spring break, well, see that as your retroactive encouragement to have fun on spring break.

boxes

so, i started doing the redesign of the site. the main page has the four little blocks representing the four main sections. and they cut off after so many letters, but that might change. templates and tinderbox are just great together. and i’m slowly figuring it out. very slowly. but it’s getting there, so, i guess it’s not too bad. and we’re almost finally moved. there’s just that little effect of murphey’s law that keeps hanging around.

and as i watching the news today i actually heard a marine say “we don’t always work off intelligence.” now, he was talking about military intelligence, and it just came out wrong.

duc-a-lo

so, i resisted the april fools joke idea. well, i would have, had i had anything to do. but i didn’t have to resist too hard. but i actually have a desk in my room, and it’s almost functional. almost. desks, tables, fridges, tvs, computers, it’s all coming together, oh yeah. but today, is palm sunday. and more importantly, i actually have day off from work. two as a matter of fact.

but, for the computer update. i got the new version of path finder. that is one spiffy finder replacement. i also got a few o’reilly books. Unix on Panther, the Pocket guide to OS X Panther, and the Pocket Objective-C reference book. for anyone that’s new to OSX, the pocket guide is great, give alot of great little tips and it’s a great reference tool for anyone using the system. if you really want to learn unix and never have, ever, the unix on panther book is awesome. and for those of you that actually want to program in Objective-C, this little book is good, but only if you know C. look for reviews of those books on this site in the next few days.

as for the site, it’s time to add some of the nifty section that i’ve been working on. pseudo little fan sites with lots and lots of links i guess. the more steam lined the better i guess. the first of which will most likely be something that i haven’t finished yet.
so, have fun, and God bless!
