New On-Line Collaberation provides a place for tracking back changes it would seem. The only bummer is that you apparently can’t easily take changes from multiple sections. however that doesn’t seem so bad as most of the time you could probably just copy past it somewhere then past back in the completed part of things. just an idea.
continuing on my rant throught the same site was this article on ajax. rather insightful in a way to who the big players are and what they’re really doing on their web sites.
fema might have caused it, but there’s a good comment about how it’s not fema’s job to respond first in all of these crisi.
what i find funny about these presentation methods is that’s what i’ve been doing for years and didn’t even know it.if you read this blog often enough you know that i like to make things readible and i’m a sucker for bulleted lists. not numbered, just here’s what it is and move on gosh dang it.
and finally, less is less. i’ve seen this commented on in places and i must admitt i agree with most of it. in everything i’ve created, i usually do it myself and it has led to much less downtime and more actual work. but more important to me is that most of the biggest projects i’ve done have been with up to three people. usually two. the second person is almost enver the same twice, but such a small amount of people really does work quite well.
and finally, for the record, these links are here more for myelf than anyone else. so have fun, i hope you enjoy them half as much as i did posting them, and if you do then i have twice as much fun making this post as you have reading it. good night.
