druid builds take one

Moonkin: the Battle Mage. so, we’ve found this build to be pretty good for a caster support druid. unles most people i don’t think druids are for one thing and one thing alone. they are quite versitile and enjoyable to play. the nice thing about this build is that you don’t sacrifice all that much in the restoration tree. you don’t get the end all be all super ability, but when your mages are criting that much, things die faster and you don’t have to heal as much anyway.

not to say that druids can’t be good healers. this restoration spec which spends all the tallent point in restortion is rather nasty in its own right. the nice thing that it does is that when you shape shift into say bear form to stay alive, you’ve got the rage to back you up. plus, if you get low on mana, pop into bear form and tank while you’re getting mana back, and you should have enough mana to get into bear form due to the fact that you were gaining mana the whole time you were healing people.

then there’s the good old feral spec. the reason it’s got 10 in restoration is that when you shift out of bear or cat form, it’s nice to be able to cast a healing spell that doesn’t get too interupted. the only only funky tweak with this build is that it requires a respec at sometime because at lower levels Feline Swiftness is one awesome ability!

this last tri-build is what i call a grinding build. or farming build once you get to 60. feline switness lets you stick in cat form for a long time as do all the extra abilities, and when you do need to pop into another form, it’s easy and you’ve already got lots you can.
