iPhone Test
June 21st, 2009…a quick note
June 15th, 2009Everything should be back up and running. Trying to upgrade some things for the future caused one of the sql tables to crash in an odd way, we convinced it it had a problem and then we were able to fix it. First step to recovery and all. Have fun!
Starting over…
March 13th, 2009This will be one of the last few entries I make here. I’ll be “starting over” with a new blog at a new address on the site. While I have enjoyed this experiment, it has gotten away from me and I’ve changed in too many ways to make this still work. As things go forward, who knows, I may come back or report most of this info. Until then, have fun, good luck, and may the Lord bless you.
graphe arithmos fixes
February 28th, 2009I like WordPress, or at the idea of what it once was. Simple, easy to use, easy to upgrade, and a shining star to what open source development should be like. That said, I’ve been disapointed with the 2.7 series and late 2.6 releases. Mostly because of how badly the upgrade feature stopped working and put my other site out of commision. Here’s a few steps I had to go through to get it working again.
First off here is the SQL line for getting it to just show posts again:
UPDATE wp_posts SET post_type = “post” WHERE post_status = “publish”;
And I still haven’t figured out what’s wrong with the categories, but that will be next weeks project.
Mice
February 27th, 2009I’ve gone through a few dozen mice over the years. Currently my setup consists of my trackpad on my laptop, and my G9 mouse for my tower. I’ve gone through several Microsoft, Logitech, Razer, Kensington, and a random brands I can’t remember. Recently my Mom needed a new mouse, so my backup MX300 went to her. As a trade, she gave me a Dell Bluetooth mouse. It’s a very, very basic mouse with the now semi standard “extra” buttons on the side near the thumb of a right handed person. It feels about comparable to the old MX300, possibly a little more sluggish. However, I do find myself in my classic position of wondering why I need a mouse for what I’d use it for given I’ve gotten back to where I can play FPS’ with my trackpad. As such, I’ve decided to test RTS, FPS, Graphic Design, Programming, and an example or two I haven’t even figured out yet performance.
Short story: Door of Youth, part 1
February 13th, 2009The following is released under the Creative Commons license. It’s a story I’ll flesh out later, once I do I’ll change the licensing, I just want to get a good base of the story. There’s 4 more parts to come.

site issues
February 7th, 2009I’ve been neglecting my own personal projects due to work and a few other set backs. That said, I hope to get back into the swing of things soon. There was a problem with this sites template and some of the new updates to wordpress, so I’ve gone ahead and reverted back to the default. I’ll try to make a new soon, but given my propensity to forget about writing, who knows when that will actually occur…
…I hope the new year is finding everyone well and safe!
doorbells and knocking are so 20th century

the begining of the end…of the year
November 30th, 2008First off, I updated the wow minis checklist link in the previous entry where it was noted. Silly me thinking WordPress still worked the same. Whoops…
Secondly, thank you all for supporting me even when I forgot to write anything. Now to get people to comment, that can be next years goal.
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season (at least here in the US), I will be beyond busy with life, work, gigs, etc this year.
Have fun!
